Free2beCruisin Posted November 13, 2018 #76 Share Posted November 13, 2018 Greetings, does anyone know the hours of operation for the thermal spa and if its open on port days?
stezarium Posted December 20, 2018 #77 Share Posted December 20, 2018 What about children? Is they free to entrance with adults? There is 130$ per adult and nothing said about children!

I do not remember the times that they open/close the spa (long days for sure), but they are open during port days. We went there during all our port stops since we had no interest in the ports of call (been to all of them before). Also, the spa is much less busy during port days. We sailed last June and we quoted this to them and they said it was wrong. They said that 16 and 17 year olds could use the gym/fitness facilities with a parent waiver, but NOT the thermal spa. They refused my 17.5 year-old daughter on 2 different occasions (2 different staff members). You might be able to sneak in an older teen through the fitness area, but don't count on it. Lunenburg Posted January 26, 2019 #82 Share Posted January 26, 2019 I see different rules on different web pages Here they are allowed https://www.msccruises.com/en-gl/Discover-MSC/On-Board/Spa-And-Relaxation/Spa-Relaxation.aspx and here they are not https://www.msccruisesusa.com/en-us/Discover-MSC/On-Board/Spa-and-Relaxation/Spa-Relaxation.aspx The latter seems to be the US site. livingis2me Posted January 27, 2019 #83 Share Posted January 27, 2019 I disembarked today. They would not permit my daughter to enter the thermal suite and she turns 18 in a few weeks.
Jgraham03 Posted January 18, 2020 #84 Share Posted January 18, 2020 What are the age requirements to use the Thermal Spa on the Seaside? I have a 15 year old so I wondered
oceantriumph Posted January 18, 2020 #85 Share Posted January 18, 2020 (edited) It is 18 years old on all ships @Jgraham03 However, whereas on the SEASIDE, the spa manager wouldn't seem to allow anyone even one day too young enter the spa (we had a 16 year old who got in but was kicked out even though the site allowed us to pay for him when the ship was new), the MERAVIGLIA staff were a lot less "watchful" and seemed to not even check if people purchased the pass (not sure if it's just cuz they knew us or what but they never seemed to scan our cards or ask for verification that we paid for spa passes Edited January 18, 2020 by oceantriumph

It’s additional unless you are Aurea or Yacht club. They do offer a massage option that includes a one day pass, but it’s more expensive that just a 1hr massage. AerynSun_JohnCrighton Posted February 18, 2020 #89 Share Posted February 18, 2020 Sounds a lot nicer than Armonia one. I'll have to consider getting a pass.

Disnyfan2 Posted February 23, 2020 #91 Share Posted February 23, 2020 Did you find it very crowded at times.
oceantriumph Posted February 23, 2020 #92 Share Posted February 23, 2020 @Disnyfan2 I echo what @jdvmd said; Seasides thermal area is stunning and only really crowded on sea days. Even so, you can use all parts (crowding doesn't affect it) and some parts are almost not used at all by most people (i.e. hot/cold gaiser and sensory showers)
AerynSun_JohnCrighton Posted October 15, 2022 #93 Share Posted October 15, 2022 Hey guys. We booked on the new Seascape in Dec. Thinking about the thermal suite. I assume it's similar to the sister ship? Anyone tell me what the pool or pools are like on that one? It mentions blower pool and Mediterranean bath... anyone explain those in American terms? Thanks!
