Thanks for the photos as there are some of us on the January 13 cruise are staying at the Embassy Suites. What was the cocktail/social event like? There is a group of us going to the Outback Steakhouse for dinner.

It was alright. Got a couple of Bloody Marys and some light snacks such as Nacho chips and salsa, veggies and dip, popcorn. Tables outside by the pool did fill up fast, lots of guests taking advantage of this perk. Enjoy a drink or two before you head out to the Outback Steakhouse.

After that we had to catch our boat out to the Stingray Sandbar. This was so much fun, I would recommend a visit to swim/snorkel with the Stingrays.

Saw this notice on the wall just before we exit the galley, though it was interesting..

Once you're done with the tour you exit into the Coral Dining room and they are waiting for you to sell cookbooks and their is also a big sale of stuff from the gift shops…

Dinner tonight we went back to Island Dining Room. Our head waiter was Jose. He was awesome his assistant not so much. Poor guy worked so hard to compensate for his lack of help. We rewarded him on our last night for his service.

We had a mid afternoon flight so we took the Excursion to the Everglades Holiday Park. Highway was closed this morning and it took a couple of hours to get there. Excursion was ok, if was very cool that day which didn’t help.

Final thoughts...

Loved the ship and staff we had a wonderful time. Would love to do a full canal transit through the old locks.

That is it off to the airport for our flight home with a 4 hour layover in LaGuardia. It was at the airports where I put most of this review together. The last couple of days has mostly been copy and paste into Cruise Critic.

Hope some of you that will be traveling on the Caribbean Princess found some photos useful.

Thanks again for all those with the encouraging comments…
