Day 3 December 2, 2017 - Falmouth Jamaica

Today we landed in our first port of call, Falmouth Jamaica.

Got up at 8:30 DW still sleeping went the Marketplace for a Breakfast #1

Once DW got up got some coffee from International Cafe then went to Coral Dining Room for my Breakfast #2

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To be honest I enjoyed the Eggs Benedict in the Marketplace buffet better than these…

One side of the Coral Dining Room is reserved for Club Class Dining

 

 

 

 

Club Class tables had Blue Table cloths, Coral Dining Room side had Yellow

We had a late arrival into Falmouth so we spent some time in the morning at the Spa Pool

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Walked around the top decks to take photos, saw this same guy blocking off the back part of sports deck for his own private use, noticed this a few time…He didn’t get it the day we were at the Panama Canal, the Photography team took over that location…

We had nothing planned just got off the ship had a Red Stripe Beer and a Jamaican Patty. Then did some shopping for the Grandkids…

Afternoon drinks at the Lobby Bar, then more time spent at the Calypso Pool

 

Early Dinner in the Island Dining Room, our server Jose took good care of us. We ask for his section every night.

Wanted to catch the 8:15PM Bravo show in the Princess Theater we arrived over 30 minutes early and there were no seats available so we went to the Explorers Lounge to catch Comedian Scott Harris. Glad we did very funny show.

Went back to Princess Theater at 9:45 for the 10:15 Bravo show. There were lots of seats available. This was a very good show. Everyone was talking about it.

Day 4 December 3, 2017 - Sea Day

Up 8:00AM, had coffee and a pre-breakfast, breakfast sandwich at International cafe. DW joined me and we went up to Marketplace for my 2nd breakfast…

 

 

 

 

 

 

Went to the Calypso pool to watch an early Movie and enjoy the pool and hot tub…very relaxing morning

Panama Canal Review in the Princess Theater

 

 

 

 

 

 

Only $550,000 for Caribbean Princess to go through the locks, that explains the large port tax added to this cruise…

 

 

 

 

Most expensive passing of the new locks so far was a cargo ship that had to pay $829,468

Dinner in Island Dining room, had the pork rib chop, it was a bit dry so I switched up and had the roast beef, it was very good.

DW didn’t know what to order so she asked for the Fettuccine Alfredo with the Grilled Salmon on top…

Music in the Piazza before the Paul Baker show

 

 

 

 

 

 

Went to the 8:15 Cabaret Showtime starring Paul Baker, we went about 15 minutes before the show and should have known that it would be full. Stood at the back for the show…Princess Theater tip, if you are going to the 8:15 show make sure you are very early. Not sure about the 6:15 shows but the 10:15 shows still had seats available 15 minutes before the show began.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

10:30 Variety Showtime with Comedy Magician Trigg Watson in Explorers Lounge, he seemed to struggle a bit with this show…

Day 5 December 4, 2017 - Cartagena Columbia

This morning we are in Cartagena Columbia.

 

 

Up early at 6AM to get breakfast before we meet in the Princess Theater for our Walking Tour of Cartagena Excursion

 

 

The tour was fine, only problem is the time in port was so short we couldn’t do anything on our own after the walking tour.

Today was the only Pub Lunch in the Crown Grill (at least it was the only one i noticed, last year on the Royal Princess we had two pub lunches during a 10 day cruise)
