Costa Maya or Roatan for dolphin excursion?

We are considering the western itinerary on the Harmony of the Seas. Any positive/negative experiences with dolphin excursions at Costa Maya or Roatan? Which would you prefer? Our kids will be 3 and 5.

 

Costa Maya time in port is 11a-7p, Roatan is 7a-4p.

Don't know about Roatan, but Royal's dolphin excursion in Costa Maya is aweful. The animals are kept in an enclosure barely the length of a couple of pools on the ship. The water is really dirty and you can't see in it (I've been on other Dolphin excursions where the water was nice and clear so you could really see the dolphins as they move around).

Anthony's Key Roatan if you must. Not so enclosed The poor dolphins at Costa Maya should be rescued somehow.

Love the dolphin encounter Anthony key in Roatan , have done it many times over the years , never get tired of it, by far best we have ever tried
