hockeyluver Posted January 11, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 11, 2018 My hubby keeps an extension cord in his cpap bag, i believe it is a 10ft. He uses the water from the tap since it has already been filtered, he also uses tap water at home and has never had a problem. Once about 6yrs ago he forgot his extension cord, went down to guest services to see about getting one, they had none left :( First port we hit he was shopping for one !!! I would not rely on the ship to always have them.
grantbob Posted January 11, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 11, 2018 Carnival has provided both for me in the past. Just let them know upfront that you have medical needs. You can do this through your PVP, the website and probably by calling them.
reerun25 Posted January 11, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2018 I always bring my own extension cord, and use tap water. I alsways call and let Carnival know I have one, and GS always calls me once on board to check to see if I need anything, extesion cord, water, etc.
Can'tWait2SetSail Posted January 11, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 11, 2018 Previous cruises they gave us a cord, but our last one in May 2017 we brought our own because we did not want to take the chance that none were available. It is not pretty when hubby does not wear his "mask". We use the cabin water.
jordanaire Posted January 11, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 11, 2018 I bring a 10-ft extension cord with me for my CPAP. I get the distilled water from the cabin steward for $3.00 per gallon. Keep cord inside your CPAP bag and they won't confiscate it. Sent from my LG-LS993 using Forums mobile app
