Nitropodder Posted January 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2018 Has anybody been on a Sigtuna excursion whilst stopping in Stockholm? We are wandering whether to take the "Stockholm Highlights tour" or spend less time actually looking around Stockholm and do the "Historic Stockholm and Sigtuna" tour. (Both include visiting the Vasa). Basically, is it worth sacrificing time in Stockholm to visit Sigtuna?
OnTheJourney Posted January 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2018 I cannot speak for Sigtuna, since we didn't go there on our Baltic cruise, but I can say that the Vasa is an outstanding place to visit - wish we would have had more time there. It was very crowded, and our guide was not all that good to begin with. Felt like we were rushed in and out of there in like 45 minutes. The place is very interesting and could have spent at least another hour there. Great place to probably go on your own without being locked into any specific timeframe.
