Yes on our last cruise there was a case of passenger with a wet bathing suit.  After they left the suite manager had 2 chairs removed for cleaning.  That seating was not available for the next several days.  Same people were in at least 1 other day with suits.  We were not the only ones in the lounge who thought bathing suits should be prohibited and voice our opinions to the SM privately.
