Wakeboarder6v0 Posted January 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2018 Hi I would like to know if anyone has carried a drone on your trip for port use only? On carnivals website one page says says NO drones. But on another website it says yes they are allowed but for port use only. No I do not want to fly it off the ship! Keys2Heaven Posted January 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2018 It's a good idea to check local laws regarding the use of surveillance drones. These are a security risk and hazard to cruise ships and drones can be confiscated if flown while onboard.

Best to do a search on Google first, or you may be wasting your time taking one.

salty dingo Posted January 29, 2018 #10 Share Posted January 29, 2018 Port areas are security sensitive. I would not fly a drone near a port, no matter what they allow. Also, you would not want to fly near police or military people or equipment. If you just want to photo some nature scenes on your excursion, and are not bothering anyone, I cannot think of any reason why not.
