Solitarycruiser Posted January 30, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2018 I am on a transatlantic starting April 6. We have 8 sea days up front so I am sure I will be watching movies daily. What time are movies played?
Rare Silver Spectre Posted January 30, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2018 I am on a transatlantic starting April 6. We have 8 sea days up front so I am sure I will be watching movies daily. What time are movies played? All day, unless the new 'on demand' has been implemented then there are three channels playing the day's movies, over and over. jollyjones Posted January 31, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2018 There should also be quite a large library of DVDs you can take out and watch any time you want using the DVD player provided in your room. They're not very current movies though.
Solitarycruiser Posted January 31, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted January 31, 2018 I should have been more specific. I was wondering about the ships movie showing in the theater.
unfathomable Posted January 31, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 31, 2018 In general, only on nights when there is no live entertainment, i.e. it's a bit of an entertainment cop-out. Typically 9.45pm-10.00pm. But they do supply popcorn.
Rare Silver Spectre Posted January 31, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 31, 2018 I should have been more specific. I was wondering about the ships movie showing in the theater. Which means one night or possibly two in the cruise. Sent from my iPad using Forums
Randyk47 Posted January 31, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 31, 2018 No idea on what they might do on a trans-Atlantic but we had four straight sea days on our Spirit cruise last November and no movies in the theater during the day. As noted above there were a couple of nights with no live entertainment and they showed a movie. Personally wife and I had a long running gin rummy tournament and enjoyed most of the sea days sitting out by the pool. By the way she won. :)
