cruisingaussies Posted February 1, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2018 Thinking of booking Ovation with a total of 10 sea days (Sydney to Singapore). Whilst we like sea days, RCCL over the last few years has cut out a lot of activities and 10 days with little to do would not be much fun. Has anyone taken a cruise lately on RCCL with so many sea days and if so, were there plenty of things to do? That is apart from the rock climbing wall, flow rider etc which, as seniors, we are definitely not in to! ;) Thanks for any comments
Clarea Posted February 1, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2018 We were on a transatlantic cruise last fall with around 9 sea days. They offered several different enrichment lecturers, regular trivia, progressive trivia, games, music around the ship, dance classes, etc.
clarky213 Posted February 1, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2018 Plenty to do on Ovation. Bumper Cars, Roller Skating, IFly.......

bonsai3s Posted February 1, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 1, 2018 Also movies by the pool deck and inside Two70, there's the library and computers on deck 6, aerobics and zumba classes, "Walk with the Officers" every morning, enrichment programs inside the fitness center (open till 11pm) and inside Two70, outstanding solarium, video games (mostly used by children), ping-pong tables, air hockey, bumper cars are fun but be careful not to hurt your hip when you get hit, bingo, sushi classes (fee), napkin folding, towel folding, passengers vs. officers in various sports (you can watch or participate), the Northstar, and consider the IFly...we saw children as young as 5 years old having fun at it and seniors as old as 92....and of course trivia. They had trivia basically scheduled 7 times a day! :)

marg h Posted February 3, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 3, 2018 We just spent 12 days on Ovation. Unfortunately we had bad weather which meant no poolside activities. Quite a lot of indoor activities. Sent from my iPad using Forums
