Steakhouse options in mdr- victory

I'm a chronic over thinker lol! We are complete foodies and my favorite part of most cruises is the steakhouse and chefs table.

Due to timing, this year we could only do victory which... God forbid! Has no steakhouse! The horror! Lol!

Is ordering the additional charge steakhouse items in the dining room really comparable? Will I survive this tough time?!:')

I can't see how it could be comparable. Bulk cooking in the MDR is nothing like individually cooked. The Steakhouse also has a special broiler to sear the steaks, where the MDR steaks are baked on a sheet pan. We saw this on the Behind the Scenes tour. The Caesar salad is not even close in comparison of tastes and preparation.

The lobster tails were very small. It looked like 1 tail split into 2. The person who ordered it at my table in Dec had her meal comped due to the length of time it took to get their meals that night. Their asst. Waiter was sick that night.
