Tampa Town Car

I booked a Town Car with Tampa Town Cars for $30+Gratuity from the airport to the Tampa Waterside Westin Hotel before our Trans Atlantic Cruise. Taxis Uber and Lyft as well as shuttlea go for around the ssme cost.

 

I was wondering if this is a good move to book the Town Car as we arrive at 5;20 PM during rush hour. I thought the price is reasonable as Uber and Lyft can have surge pricing.

 

To the Pier is a cab the best option? I can pre book one for $1£ or is Uber less for the 2 mile ride?

Taxi cost within the downtown area is a flat rate of $6 per person.

I found Cabs Plus for an estimated cost of $9.90 for 2 people from the Westin Harbour to Pier Terminal 6 on McKay St. in a Town Car so I reserved it using their app.

 

Is arriving at the pier around 10:40 good for a 11:30 embarkation?

I'd get there at 10:30am because they tend to start boarding at 11am these days.
