Oasis class lifeboat placement

Recommended Posts

We like to walk in the morning on the track on deck 5 outside. The life boats are even with the deck and set inward. It's actually a nice set up, since you would walk right onto them in an emergency. No lowering to get to the pax.

I have not stayed on deck six...but am booked in December. I would be surprised if any of them block the view...but I could be wrong.

Sorry, that is what I meant. Wanting to know where the gabs/openings are in where the lifeboat placement on deck 5 is so that I can choose my balcony on deck 6.

The lifeboats do protrude out a bit and can block your ability to see directly down to the water, but it only affects you if you are standing at the rail. We have sailed in 6278 on both Allure and Oasis and there is not a lifeboat directly under that cabin. The ships that have the major obstructions due to lifeboats are the Quantum class ships.
