Rare jam19872016 Posted February 11, 2018 Author #26 Share Posted February 11, 2018 Family Harbor lounge, it did not seem to need a key card access but I did not go in since I was not paying for use of the lounge. Looking at the picture again, I do think I see a spot to swipe your card for entry. Deck 3 forward is cabins. Next is the atrium. Crew drill taking place in the lobby. Rare jam19872016 Posted February 11, 2018 Author #27 Share Posted February 11, 2018 The Dreamscape. On one side of the lobby is Guest Services. The other side is the Shore Excursions desk. The mid ship MDR - Reflections. This is for assigned dining.
Rare jam19872016 Posted February 11, 2018 Author #28 Share Posted February 11, 2018 Like most Carnival ships you can't walk all the way across deck 3 because the galley is in the way. At the back of 3 and 4 is Horizons the other MDR. Conference Room located just outside the MDR. Continuing on 4 heading toward the forward. Lower Promenade. The green lights in the photo are the emergency lights for the crew drill and not part of the ships decorations, this ship is completely void of any color. Heading down the Lower Promenade. This area gets VERY congested in the evening. Then they rope half the aisle off for the line to enter the limelight lounge and it is just a bit ridiculous trying to get through here. Rare jam19872016 Posted February 11, 2018 Author #29 Share Posted February 11, 2018 Limelight Lounge. Men's restroom. Why is this important? If you plan to live in the casino, this is the nearest bathroom. There is only a women's bathroom by the casino. Men, you gotta walk. The Art Gallery. Not really sure what this room was used for, the art was displayed in the Library and I never saw a person manning this desk. Skybox Sports Bar. Rare jam19872016 Posted February 11, 2018 Author #30 Share Posted February 11, 2018 The poker pro table is located inside the sports bar. If you turn just before entering the casino, Club 02 is located off to the side. Vista Casino. I wish I would have taken more pictures of the casino to illustrate what a tight squeeze it was in there. Casino bar. I thought this was cooler than the dreamscape in the main lobby. Rare jam19872016 Posted February 11, 2018 Author #32 Share Posted February 11, 2018 The Vista no longer has a pilot elevator system, just the normal push a button and wait system. There are not enough elevators to keep up with the demand, and during heavy traffic times they are pretty much unusable. I found that the mid ship elevators were your best bet but sometimes, if you are physically capable, you may just have to huff it up the stairs. All the way forward on decks 4-5 is the Liquid Lounge. Continuing on Deck 5. Lots of seating looking down to the lobby.

Rare jam19872016 Posted February 11, 2018 Author #35 Share Posted February 11, 2018 The Library. It was bigger than I expected, but they frquently closed it off to host art events. Looking down into the casino. Sorry to break off at an odd spot, but I'm having trouble uploading at the moment. I'll get some more uploaded at work and finish the tour in a day or two. Scotto97 Posted February 13, 2018 #39 Share Posted February 13, 2018 Thanks for all the great pictures - really help give an idea of the ship's interior design. Very modern and colorless, some parts (Like the common area hallways) remind me of a hospital. Also seems like movable chairs have been substituted for fixed seating and mini couches which had been popular in the past. This would seem to cut into seating capacity quite a bit, making venues more difficult to attend. I'm looking forward to your continued review and personal impressions. Rare jam19872016 Posted February 13, 2018 Author #42 Share Posted February 13, 2018 Following and enjoying. We are doing 6 day Western itinerary on Vista this March. Almost here now! Have a great cruise. Thanks for all the great pictures - really help give an idea of the ship's interior design. Zero wow factor anywhere on this ship, sadly. I guess that is the trend and what people like these days, but I sure miss the crazy and "fun" colors and decorations throughout the common areas. Rare jam19872016 Posted February 14, 2018 Author #48 Share Posted February 14, 2018 I love the outside space on the Promenade deck. This deck is much quieter than the Lido deck.
