Bringing drinks off to Princess Cay

I have the drink plan and know that I will not hit my max 15. Has anyone ever stocked up before getting off at either princess cay or hmc? I'm talking like 6 or 8 beers in a collapsible cooler.

They serve you the beer bottles opened, usually.

 

Honestly, I'm not sure about whether they let you off the ship with a drink or drinks in your hand...especially to their private resort area where they want to make money from you drinking...

While I am not sure about Princess Cay or Half Moon Cay, I have done this on a Carnival Excursion in Nassau to their private Island Beach. The excursion instructions said no outside food or drink allowed, but I had no trouble having 4 beers in my Beach Bag. I also did this on Norwegian, I had the drink package, but at their private island in Belize, the drink package was not included, so there again, I carried off beer in my Beach Bag, no big deal.

I really can't speak for alcoholic drinks but I always take waters off the ship no matter the port. Yes I always get the cheers package . If you can manage to get served beers on the ship without them opening them first , I don't see any reason why you couldn't get away with taking them off

I think the problem is they don't have their own private island??? The use other lines islands...therefore have no control over the beverages

I'd wager they make more selling drinks on the island than they would in the increase in sales of Cheers packages.

Probably. I just really loved that aspect of RC's drink package. It was so nice to have it all included.
