kkyyylllaa Posted February 15, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Are there any hotels in MIA that offer free shuttle to the cruise terminal?
Rare Noxequifans Posted February 15, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2018 If you stay downtown, for example the Intercontinental, the port is close by and a very short cab ridev away. Also, the word “free” is attractive but the cost is included in the hotel rate.

JohninDC Posted February 15, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Welcome tot he boards! Only a few hotels out near the MIA airport offer "free" shuttles to POM. Okay if you are flying into MIA late and just want dinner and a room, but you won't get to see/experience much of Miami. Hotels in the Blue Lagoon area near MIA are often suggested -- with a local strip mall nearby with dining and shopping options. Look at the Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites and others. La Quinta East is a budget option popular with cruisers, and the MIA Embassy Suites is also often suggested. As mentioned above, a taxi to downtown hotels will cost about $25-30, and another $12-15 cab will get you to the port the next day. You can cut those fares almost in half if you use Uber or Lyft. Your call. Good luck with your planning and have a great cruise! :D
Flymia Posted February 15, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Its not worth it. Just stay somewhere that is Downtown or in Brickell and you can take a very cheap and quick Uber/Lyft drive to the port. Even a taxi drive should be no more than $12-$15.00 but Uber/Lyft will almost always be cheaper and better.
BlueHerons Posted February 15, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 15, 2018 Miami is not really a city where a free shuttle should be your priority. If you get in late, like after 8PM, I'd stay Blue Lagoon and those hotels may have shuttles. Before six I'd stay downtown or Coral Gables. Early the morning before I'd stay on the beach.
