Platinum balcony discount

Sorry if this is a silly question. We are sailing on Anthem in May and during our last cruise we moved up to platinum in C&A. I never though of it at the time of booking and I see now that going from gold to platinum includes balcony discounts. Has anyone ever used this or aware of the discount? Final payment is next week. Is it worth looking into before final payment. We currently have a virtual balcony.

These are the discounts for Platinum:

 

Platinum Balcony Discount When Booking More than 6 Months from Sailing Date:

$ 50 * for sailings of 3-5 nights

$100* for sailings of 6-9 nights

$200* for sailings of 10+ nights

 

 

 

*When booking less than 6 months from sailing date subtract $25 from the dollar amount.

 

 

These discounts would apply to any stateroom with a real (not virtual) balcony, so you would have to upgrade in order to receive the discount.

Also be aware that certain pricing schemes are not combinable with the C&A balcony discount. Be sure you confirm the total price before you commit to an upgrade.
