LongHill44 Posted March 1, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Just wondering if places like Guy's or the Mexican cantina is open, or just Lido's buffet?
lcpagejr Posted March 1, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Guys is usually open to 6pm daily... Mexican usually closes around 3pm. But being embarkation day it may be open later. Lido will be open probably to 4ish.... Then they begin getting ready for dinner buffet. But you will still have Deli and Pizza as other options
LongHill44 Posted March 1, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted March 1, 2018 So if we get on the ship by 2:00 and we leave at 5:00, we should be able to get some pizza and something at the deli right? We are driving down so we will have an early breakfast and no lunch before getting on the ship
springs741 Posted March 1, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 1, 2018 They are indeed open. As is the deli and pizza. Main Dining Room and Steakhouse are not. I cannot remember if the sushi place was open. Absolutely no disrespect intended, we were all newbies at one time, but you embark the ship departs.
DebbieMo Posted March 1, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Guys and Blue Iguana should be open at 12pm. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
mdsgu Posted March 1, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 1, 2018 There's usually a pasta place near the Lido buffet (on the Dream, there is a staircase leading to it, but no real signage). It was open for lunch at embarkation, and there were no lines. It was set up so you pick what kind of pasta you want, what kind of sauce, and what kind of extras (mushrooms and such). Was quick, there was plenty of seating, and did I mention no lines?
salty dingo Posted March 1, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Absolutely no disrespect intended, we were all newbies at one time, but you embark the ship departs. When the ship sets sail, it embarks on its voyage, does it not? It also departs the port. I think both terms are absolutely correct.
horsegal Posted March 1, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Something to keep in mind usually about a half hour before departing they have the muster safety drill, it is mandatory and everyone must go. They close down all food and beverage before the drill. So it might be cutting it close depending on how long the lines are to check in and board.
