Check in time?

Hi,

I received my etickets yesterday for my April 1st departure from Venice.

\i have a check in time of 14:45. This is fine, but my question is... how likely is this to be the case. Do people usually check in as assigned or just show up for a free for all?

I am happy to make my way for the time noted, but it does seem a bit late in the event that there are a couple thousand of passengers ahead of me.

Thoughts..?

Thanks

I don't know if many people ever pay much heed to the check-in times on their tickets. Often times, the flight and cruise are booked together with transfers arranged, so people don't always get to choose when they arrive at the port, anyway. We always head to the terminal early (if the ship docks in the morning) so that we can enjoy as much of the first day onboard as possible.
