Question about Casino on Alaskan Cruises

Good morning, We are thinking about booking an Alaskan cruise (we have cruised the Caribbean for over 10 years and want to try something different) My question is does the Casino open while you are doing the Alaskan cruises? We are used to being in open waters very quickly while leaving Fort Lauderdale and the casino opening up when we leave the islands we visit. How does this work in Alaska being it looks like the ship stays close to land all the time?

Thanks for any info you can give us.

The casino is open most nights as you sail out. They do stay closed if you are in a National Park.

Alaska is beautiful don’t let the casino hold you back. Trust me it will be open enough. ( Casino cruiser. All comped cruises this year)

If you can blue cow dog, try a land tour and cruise. When we did ours (other line because others planned it and we sort of tagged along) absolutely loved it. We did the land part first so we could relax during the cruise. Whatever you decide to do you will enjoy it!
