cruzn fun Posted March 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Hello, can anyone tell me the shower set up on a fully accessible cabin on Star Princess? Fold down seat? Chair?Thank you in advance :)
Rare Essiesmom Posted March 11, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Fold down seat. You could request a shower stool if you think it would be better. EM
moki'smommy Posted March 11, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 11, 2018 I've never been on the Star. Diamond and Caribbean have built in fold down seats.
JF - retired RRT Posted March 11, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 11, 2018 And the showers are HUGE!! There's room in there for 2 or 3 wheelchairs (as long as everyone is friends;p ).

catwoman6226 Posted March 11, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 11, 2018 The fold-down seat in the accessible cabins on the Star is rather small. I ended up using the footstool from the balcony instead - not fun for a 15 night cruise, but it worked :) Fold down seats in the accessible cabins on the Emerald and Crown were much larger and sturdier. Put a towel down before you sit - it's much more comfortable that way.
moki'smommy Posted March 11, 2018 #7 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Do not use the stool from the balcony. If the fold down bench isn't right for you, ask the room steward for a shower chair.
catwoman6226 Posted March 11, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 11, 2018 The shower chair on the Star was no better than the fold-down seat - that's why I used the footstool from the balcony. Your mileage may vary.

Your mileage may vary. Wow, that's really too bad. Glad you found something that worked for you. I'll have to remember that this might not be the best ship when we are planning cruises.
