New to Royal Caribbean

Morning, we have just booked our 1st cruise with Royal Caribbean. I was just wondering can I register for Crown & Anchor before we travel or do we have to have been on the cruise before we can register. We are registered with Captain's club, I have just read a thread about the 2 merging. TIA

I did this in reverse (from Crown and Anchor to Captain's Club). Was a while ago but from memory ...

 

I contacted Crown and Anchor and asked for status match for Captain's Club. I then had a membership number which I used to register on the website.

 

You need to do this now so that your booking has the right Crown and Anchor status and you get the benefit of the loyalty benefits. You will need to add your Crown and Anchor membership number to your booking. Best way to do this is online when you check-in.

Yes, but don't try it online for at least a week. Call C&A and give them your Captain's Club info and they will create C&A accounts and link them.

We did a cruise in 1987 before CA and were able to setup our account with this cruise when we cruised again in 2011.
