Livorno port - where do you meet for a private tour?

We will be on the Epic in September and stopping in Livorno. We are considering taking a private tour from the port to Pisa and Lucca. In looking at photos of the port, all I see are tour buses lined up to take people on tours. Where would the meeting place be for people taking a private tour (a tour in an automobile, not a bus). One person is in a wheelchair so I am wondering the logistics of getting there and how far it is to the private tour meeting area.

Most reputable tour companies have a permit that gives them access to the secure area of the port. They pick you up in the same area as the big tour buses.

Ok that's good go know. I looked at a youtube video of the port and it looks like the passengers just got off the ship, went through a terminal and on the other side were the tour buses (and automobiles). Thank you.

We took an excursion to Lucca and Pisa with TuscanyBus for $28eu. We got on their bus at the ships shuttle drop off and they returned us to the ship after the tour. They also do a Florence and Pisa tour for $30eu. It was reasonably priced and provided free wifi on the bus.

The TuscanyBus looks like a good deal!

If our ship (Epic) docks at 7am (the Livorno cruise port says it arrives at 6am) and we get off the ship as soon as they let us off, is meeting a private tour guide at 8am realistic? The guide is meeting us right outside the terminal door labeled "Exit - Shore Excursions".

The Livorno cruise port website also says we dock at berth 46/47. Is this at the new cruise ship terminal?
