Rare pierces Posted March 27, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2018 I am not a fan of the selfie. For one thing, I'm just not all that pretty. For another, I am what one would call "fairly knowledgeable" about photography and using a wide-angle lens for portraiture is generally considered a no-no for good reasons. I saw this article this morning and was pleased that something I theorized about actually had numbers to back it up. The fact that it's funny only makes it better. Nose jobs on the rise because of wide angle distortion in camera phone selfies. Article Here Dave
kenevenpar Posted March 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2018 LOL. That's what I need, a bigger nose. I'm not a selfie fan either.

Mr. Click Posted April 3, 2018 #6 Share Posted April 3, 2018 Selfie sticks..they are dangerous and annoying. My patience is running out with people to stick them into my view and just stand there forever and then give me a stupid grin when they finally move. People learn about manners. Like Dave, the last thing I want to see in my pictures is my ugly, weather beaten face. If I just traveled 5000 miles to see some beautiful scenery why would I want to mess up the view by sticking me in it?
