RCI status and Celebrity

Recommended Posts

I may not be phrasing this right but I'll go ahead and try. My understanding is that if you're say a Diamond member on Royal that you're also the corresponding category on Celebrity but that while on Celebrity you do not accrue additional points towards your RCI status. Can anyone confirm or explain? Thanks!

You are correct. Diamonds get X Elite benefits. Shorter evening Happy Hour(s) but IMO the rest of the package is better. You do NOT get C&A points but you do earn X Captains Club points. Diamond + and Elite + have to earned from the ground up on each line (well Azamara does count for X CC points) so you are starting on new point total on a sister line.

Add: I think I actually beat Bob to the punch once in 10 years. He’s the man with accurate answers and fast fingers.
