Drink package at dinner.

I read that everyone at the same dinner table has to have the same drink package. Is this true? Has anyone experienced this first hand? Our friends do not have the same package as us. Will they actually not let them eat with us? This seems absolutely ridiculous and almost impossible to monitor. I️ hope someone can confirm or deny this.

If your reservations are linked, officially everyone wanting to have linked dinner reservations has to have the drink package. Not for dining with strangers.

we've sat on tables with people who had no package, the standard all inclusive, wine vouchers and premium so shouldn't be an issue.
