11:30 Flight Home From SJU to JFK?

Just checking your expert advice. Need a return flight in December off a Freedom cruise... Flight from San Juan to JFK. Would I have any issues booking an 11:30 return flight. Ship is scheduled to dock at 6:00am.........Thanks.

If you can get off the ship and through customs by 9am, you should not have a problem.

That's a very good time - not too early and not too late.

Just make sure you put your luggage though the agricultural inspection which is just as one enters the airport terminal. If you don't you will be sent back from the check in counter to have your bags inspected and stickered that this was done.

Should be easy just send your bags thru the agriculture inspections scanner so you dont get sent back.

No problem with 11:30A. My flight was like 1:45P and I was off the ship and at the airport by 9:30A. The airport was a madhouse. It was a long and boring wait.

I made a 9:50 flight easily last February. I carried my bags off and was at the airport by 7:30. The good news is that the airport is not yet a zoo by that hour! The Adventure staff had the early departure well organized. (Except for being up so early), the process was a joy.
