airtana Posted April 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2018 Having posted this on another thread and gotten some amazing comments, such as “after 19 cruises I never knew this”, I felt it might be helpful to once again let folks know that the wonderful toiletries supplied in your stateroom do, indeed, have a flip top, making it NOT necessary to screw the top off to get to the contents. I was not aware of this fact until day 5 of our cruise when my DH pointed this out to me. As always, in my mind, little things mean a lot. :) :p
aquidneck1 Posted April 14, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 14, 2018 LOL Yes, they do but I have to leave them open or break my nails to get them open each day.

Like this brand of products and am getting ready for our first Oceania sailing. In mid November, 2018, just seven months away, we are doing an Athens to Dubai, 20-day cruise with Oceania on the Nautica. This will include our first visits to the Holy Lands, Egypt, Middle East, etc. Like getting these insights and tips for a first-timer with this cruise line. Being a guy, I don't have long nails and using such flip-tops is easy. THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio Enjoyed a 14-day, Jan. 20-Feb. 3, 2014, Sydney to Auckland adventure, getting a big sampling for the wonders of "down under” before and after this cruise. airtana Posted April 14, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted April 14, 2018 You are so right . . It does take some finesse to get the flip tops open. I don’t use my nails because I know that would break them, rather use the front pad of my thumb to lift them up. Viola!!
