crisp1 Posted April 22, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2018 I've read that people in Med countries don't dress as casually. This time of year in Montinegro and Croatia I understand that the temps are in the mid to upper 60's. Are jeans acceptable- tank tops? Shorts? I realize we'll look like tourists no matter what- but would like to fit in a bit- recommendations?
Sauer-kraut Posted April 22, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2018 Yes that will be fine, just remember that if you go into churches or cathedrals your shoulders and knees need to be covered. Be sure you are packing good walking shoes or sandals, cobblestones are not your friend!
iancal Posted May 2, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2018 Our experiences are that you will see lots of jeans. Shorts too, but mostly on tourists.
