Labadee questions

Recommended Posts

Good afternoon,

Sailing in July/early August with a 6-year-old and a 9-year-old. I'm trying to decide what to do in my shore excursions....do I rent the larger beach chairs or a beach bed? Are they close to the water park and kid areas? Any other considerations with kids?

Thanks!

I agree...with kids, they're going to be running around and wanting to explore. There is no need for a clamshell or beach bed...they will NOT be using it! You can follow around after them...pull a lounger into the shade of a tree, if you want to. Loungers are everywhere....(caveat:...if you are among the 1st people there, you may have to tip a chair boy....but if you wait a bit, there will be chairs all over the place!)

If you DO want to rent something, look at the Columbus Cove Beach Bungalows. Columbus Cove is the sandiest beach, and it's where the kids water park is. The bungalows are fantastic, but be warned, they are at the farther end of the beach from the water park so not sure how it'd work out for watching the kids. Just a thought.
