Anyone know if they have NBCSN as a channel on the Getaway? (NHL playoffs)

Anyone recently on the Getaway know if they have NBCSN as a sports channel? We have been on the Getaway a few times and do not remember seeing it in the stateroom but I vaguely recall seeing it on at O'Sheehans. We don't want to miss the Golden Knights advancing while cruising next week.

They don't have the channel, but there is a channel for live sports that shows various events from different networks. I think O'Sheehans does have access to more than what is in the room.

I was able to watch both hockey and basketball playoff games on the Breakaway transatlantic. The sports channel was the same in my cabin and in O'Sheehan's. There was a lot of soccer and tennis but they covered the playoffs pretty well.

I can't even get NBCSN (not that I'd want to) from Comcraptastic.

 

On the ship, prepare to be inundated with EPL footie, and Turkish League basketball.

We just got off the Getaway on Sunday and they were showing hockey games on several bar TVs

Just got off the Escape on Sunday. My first cruise with Norwegian. I was so happy and shocked to see hockey. All my cruises on Royal and i never saw a hockey game.

 

The channel being discussed is called Sport24. This channel is shown on every TV throughout the ship. O'Sheehans. casino, out on the Waterfront. In the room it is shown on channel 19 and 27. This is the only sport channel on the ship. You will never see 2 different sport events at the same time on the ship,at least I didn't. And i would guess that this is the sport channel also on the Breakaway/Getaway.

 

Out of the 7 nights, I think I saw 5 hockey games being shown. Bruins-Lightning, Sharks-Vegas and Jets-Predators games. Never showed Penguins-Capitals.

 

Yes, there is a lot of soccer. German Bundesliga and English Premier leauge. Also NBA playoffs were on. So when a hockey game was on, it was NBCSN, and with the NBA it was TNT coming thru on Sports24.

 

For the week that I was on it was a really good balance of NBA and NHL playoffs along with soccer. Was really surprised.
