I fully understand how opinions and even experiences differ for pax on same sailing , so these are MY thoughts/opinions/experiences.

Ship layout/decor was fine.

Atrium is small but we enjoyed it.

Elevators are slow , relax you will get there.

Lido, I like the changes seemed more open to me.

Tides Bar/Pool aft isn't adults only , however the adults did dominate the pool , so parents took kids elsewhere.

Tides Bartenders ( Nancy, I Gede, and Brian) very friendly.

Casino Smoke is pretty bad and the smell does filter to other floors.

Atrium entertainment (New Age Violin Trio) are fantastic as are the bartenders (Glynda, Emmalynn, and HoMang). Very engaging. Julia was OK.

Achlemy Bar very good, Brian from Tides also works here.

Reflections dining room and food was mostly good, there was 1 negative I will explain at the end.

Steakhouse our meal was excellent!

Cabin steward came once a day ( morning) . Yes he did ask us when we wants service.

Serenity is ok but with no pool we chose Tides.

Buffet food IMO hasn't changed in years and yes there will be wait times.

Seafood Shack ( Clam strips) very good.

Pigs and Anchor was good.

Guys Burgers EXCELLENT! Well worth it and lines moved quickly.

On we go:

Embarkation wasn't bad at all, no FTTF and on board at 12:30

Debarkation very smooth.

Cheers , we blew it away. Saved ourselves $400-$500. No negative comments please,we know our habits.

Balcony cabin was as I remembered from 6 years ago.

Dining staff ( KYAW, Roy, and Riomel) very good and engaging. Yes they still dance every night.

NOW the Negatives:

Going back to Reflections MDR we had table 222 that is right next to service station. There is only a small ledge separating diners from dirty dishes/ stacked dishes, etc.

A design defect for sure and hopefully Carnival will fix the problem as we reported our concerns.

Common sense, watch where you're going, being courteous seems to be lost on many, many pax. PAY Attention there are other people , not just you!

We had many Motorized Scooters on board that the users thought they were "entitled". Encountered many, however one really stuck out as we saw her numerous times. She literally put her scooter in high and barged ahead of other getting to elevator.

I do have compassion, just not for selfish people and that she was.

It was a Great Cruise even with the negatives. Any questions will be happy to answer.

No to all, the only thing we stumbled upon 1 night was the lido movie "Wonder" was showing. DW had read the book so we watched it.

Steakhouse

DW French onion soup, 9 oz. Fillet , baked 🥔

Me Shrimp Cocktail, surf and turf, and bourbon spiced French Fries ( Fries were actually pretty good)

No desert as we were both full.

Food is so subjective, however our meals were excellent and service was very, very good.

The Rock and Roll show was really upbeat and good. Lasted only about 45- 1 hr, but very high energy.

BTW if you see it , Matt's (CD) GF is the dancer with the American Flag as part of her costume. He told everyone at the Q&A.

When we sailed on the Vista in May of 2017 we thought Matt was probably our best CD yet! Really enjoyed being around him, he's a riot! :')
