Rare Essiesmom Posted June 2, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2018 Perhaps if you ask on the Cunard board here, the crossing experts can tell you. EM
cb at sea Posted June 2, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 2, 2018 It may not be warm enough to get wet, but if you're out of the wind (away from the railing), and the sun is out, you can certainly tan!
Heidi13 Posted June 3, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 3, 2018 Way too many variables to provide a definitive answer - weather, routing (E'bd or W'bd) wind direction, etc. However, in June, I would expect to see at least some pax in swim wear around the pools. TheOldBear Posted June 3, 2018 #5 Share Posted June 3, 2018 is it warm enough to be in a swim suit on Queen Mary transatlantic, on June 10 cruise There are always one of the two indoor pools - The Pavilion pool on deck 12 [with retractable roof] or the Spa pool on deck 7 [extra charge]. I have seen folks in the deck 8 'Terrace' pool & hot tubs even when the ship was sailing through a tropical storm remnant - with force 11 winds on the bow. The shape of the superstructure offers quite a bit of protection from the wind while the ship is underway.
