Operational Considerations

I received an email last night from Carnivalstating that the itinerary for my December 22, 2018 sailing on the Carnival Breezehas been changed(the ports were simply switched around) due to “Operational Considerations”. According to the itinerary change our 1stport is now Costa Maya from Noon until 8:00pm. By no means am I complaining nor am I unnervedby this. I haven’t made any plans for this port so I still have time to find anexcursion for my children and I.

Just curious any idea what “OperationalConsiderations” mean? What could they possibly consider this far in advance? Iunderstand things change, just curious what this means or what has happened.
