DWH Posted January 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2006 This is the stateroom symbol for some of the 4 a's Does this mean ther are 2 upper like bunk beds? All we want to make sure if we have one king or 2 twins we can put together. This is for carnival, so what is theonly symbol we should be looking for to avoid something like bunk beds? We shouldalso book gurantee correct?
Arwenmark Posted January 5, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2006 I don't think there are any ships still traveling that have ONLY an upper and lower bunk. All of them have two SMALL, not twin size beds some of which can be pushed together to make one not quite queensize bed. Only book a guarantee if you will be happy with ANY cabin in the guarantee category you book. otherwise book a specific cabin.
Nitemare Posted January 5, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2006 There's a board here at Cruise Critic dedicated to Carnival questions. You'll get your best info there . . . or from your Travel Agent. They make a commission to tell you this stuff. Good lucK!

Happy ks Posted January 5, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 5, 2006 Isn't a 1A an upper and lower bunk?
trish1c Posted January 5, 2006 #6 Share Posted January 5, 2006 Certain ships do still have upper & lower bunk beds. Read the cabin descriptions carefully.

If you do a Guarantee with four people in the room, they may assign you a cabin with only one upper and then bring in a rollaway.
