I know that the cruise has to be of at least the same value and you pay £100 administration charge but do you have to take the new cruise within a certain time period of the original cruise booked ? the english lady Posted July 2, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 2, 2018 I think you have to rebook with in 6 months (have a feeling it used to be a year), but I think you have a year to actually sail if you get my drift. ie if you did it now you would have to make a new booking by December ,but you could actually sail in 2019. majortom10 Posted July 2, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 2, 2018 It is only within 6 months if a world cruise or sector other cruises have to be within 12 months and have to be a higher value. Full conditions are below taken from P&Os website- We will only allow a booking to be transferred once The new booking must be of a higher value (before fuel surcharges) Bookings must be outside of balance due period - 90 days prior to departure. The new booking must sail within - 6 months of the original sailing date for full world cruises including liners and sectors, 12 months of the original departure date for all other cruises. The transfer is subject to an administration fee of £100 per booking which must be paid at the time of the transfer along with any additional payment to reflect the new deposit amount. Any discount or promotion applicable to the original booking may not apply to the new booking, in which case the passenger shall be required to pay any difference in price. Bookings after the balance due date: Transfers are not permitted and the booking will be cancelled at the appropriate cancellation charges as per section 38 of our booking conditions.
