OBC with two accounts in room - who gets it??

Our girls' room has a $50 OBC from a promo rate. We're covering the expenses for our 16-yr-old and she's connected to our account. Our 22-yr-old is on her own as far as spending money (we paid for her cruise!) and has her own account. What happens to the $50 OBC for the room? Do I get any say in how it's allocated...? I'd like to have it assigned to the 16-yr-old if possible.

Instead of being the 7th person to repeat the same answer, I'll try to answer the other part of your question. You can go to Guest Services to see if they can put all of the OBC on one account. I know they can divide amounts on gift cards according to where you want the funds allocated, but I'm not sure about promotional OBC. Doesn't hurt to ask. Maybe someone else will come along and offer first-hand experience instead of repeating the same thing everyone else said. ;)

I asked when I had to deal with it, and I was told that they can’t do that. I didn’t want my youngest daughter having money to spend without me knowing so she said “just use her card next time you buy a drink”.

Was it one of Carnival's regular customer service reps. that you asked? If so, there's a saying that goes around...ask them three questions, you'll get three different answers. And I've experienced it myself. That's why a lot of people prefer dealing with a PVP when they have one.

I'm not sure if it's possible for them to allocate promotional OBC to a single account (when there's more than one in a cabin) before the cruise. I think you're best chance, if it is possible, is going to Guest Services on board.

I had a solo cruise planned in March on the Pride with a $200 OBC. (Casino offer)

At the last minute I invited a friend and she felt bad using MY credit since $100 was automatically put on her account. She offered to give me the cash but I had asked her to come and didn't want to be cheap...lol

We ended up each using the OBC for gratuities since it came to about $90 each anyway.
