Like Bigbenboys, we've been in the C2 cabins just forward of these S2's.  The location was perfect in our view.  Remember that the S2 cabins will have an overhang above, so don't plan on sunbathing on the balcony.  The aft balconies don't have much of an overhang.  We are doing a b2b on the Equinox in December, and have 2114 on the first leg, and 2108 on the second leg.

 

Hey, Bigbenboys, thanks for posting the pictures.  The more pictures I looked at, the hungrier I got.

There are so many factors only you can decide. I did some more looking at the S-Class Cabin spreadsheet. 2114 seems to be quieter than  2116. 2116 has a crew door across from it. The aft suites on deck 12 do get some noise from above.
