mommasaurus Posted July 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2018 We are cruising on the Maasdam B2B on July 21 and July 28 cruises. We will be in different cabins for each cruise. My question is about the turn around day. We would like to go and tour Boston a bit but we don't know how much time we will have. Looking for information as to when we would get new cards, availability of new stateroom, customs...... Do we have to wait until all other passengers are off? DeepWaterMariner Posted July 8, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2018 I haven't done this on Maasdam but have on the Prinsendam. We got out in transit documents the day before and could leave the ship as early as we wanted. The room stewards took care of most of the move. We had to pack the stuff we had in drawers, toiletries, etc but the stewards moved our bags and all the hanging stuff in the closets. Our move was completed by 9 AM. fatcat04 Posted July 8, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2018 On halfacts very helpful CCer POA1 donated the image of the B2B turnaround day document for a cruise out of Port Everglades. I bet the ship procedure is the same. Might answer a few questions. You can find it here. http://halfacts.com/fll-turnaround-day-instructions-b2b-cruises/

Rare Vict0riann Posted July 8, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 8, 2018 We found that all our belongings had been moved when we got back from breakfast!:) We had been to the Front Desk and given our new room key cards (needed to get back on the ship), and everything went very smoothly. As DeepWaterMariner said, we had to pack all our stuff into our suitcases beforehand, we carried our valuables, and anything hanging in the closet was moved as is.
