If port currency exhange closes at 8 pm, what happens if still have CUC to change?

Give it to your cabin steward as an additional tip; they can exchange it the next time the ship is in port in Cuba. I don't believe you can exchange it for dollars anywhere else.

 

Hmmm, seems we really need a handle on how much we'll be spending. That could get tricky:confused:

Or bring it home and post it for sale at a bit better than the official rate.

 

btw folks, according to the Cuban government, the CUC is supposed to be 'going away' in favor of the CUP.....any day now apparently. People were saying it would happen as soon as Raul was out and the new guy, Diaz-Canel, was in, which happened already.
