A Different Beach Question?

Wasn't sure how to title this, however a group of us are going on a cruise in January and San Juan is one of the stops. Majority of our group wants to wander the town seeing the forts and all there is to see in Old San Juan and then end the day at the beach. However we have a couple people on this trip that can not handle that much walking. So we are looking for a beach closer to where we will be walking around so that if they get tired and are only able to walk a short time with us they can stop at the beach with a book and just relax.

There are no nice beaches close to where you'll be walking in Old San Juan.

I'd recommend taking a taxi to Isla Verde for a beach outing.

Thank you for your response. If there are indeed no beaches in that area than maybe they can stay on the boat relaxing while we explore Old San Juan. I will continue researching
