Santiago and Cienfuegos private tours

I've seen a lot on Havana, but not much on these two ports.

 

Somewhere I saw information for CUBATours, and I've contacted them. Can anyone provide feedback on their tours?

 

I'm a little concerned the tour had to be pre-paid via PayPal. Is this common?

 

Other suggestions for private tour operators in these ports? There will only be two of us, but with my husband's health problems, we want to be able to tailor the itinerary to us.

 

Do any of the tour operators in these ports have AC in the cars?

3bzmom.....I asked basically the same question about Cienfuegos. I’ve had over 250 views but not a single reply. We sail in November (Royal Caribbean) and would prefer a private tour. I don’t think too many people have visited these ports yet so information on tours is lacking. I did find some info (don’t remember where..maybe Trip Advisor), on Caribbean Pearl Tours with Fernando Hernandez Mora. I haven’t tried contacting him. If you have any luck finding anything, please report back. Thanks and good luck!

We used Fr tours in Havana and they did have ac . I also told him we were older so they tailored the tour with less walking .

Does anyone know if there is a tour from Cienfuegos to Havana on Royal? Our sailing doesn't stop in Havana, so we are wondering if we can do a day tour. RC website has no information about this port.

I doubt that such a tour exists, and if it did it wouldn't be practical. It's about a 3 hour drive per Google Maps.
