Trans Atlantic Sea Days

On our Transatlantic we had several port days first and then our sea days. I spent lots of time uploading and organizing all the pictures I took. It was great. They also have plenty of activities to keep you busy. Read some good books, nap and just enjoy the lazy days.

We did a TA with nine straight days at sea and it was GLORIOUS! Both my husband and I were in really stressful work situations and it was so so so nice to just turn off everything (brains, phones, internal clocks...) and just relax. We were in an inside cabin, it was dark and cool and quiet....

 

We'd wake up late, find breakfast somewhere (or lunch, depending on how late we slept!), wander around, take a nap, eat dinner, drink all the drinks, take another nap, eat more food..... We were VERY excited to see a port, but were also the most relaxed and refreshed we'd ever been, ever!!!

That sounds wonderful. Slightly OT but I actually don’t have a preference between balcony and interior for that reason. I LOVE small cozy dark spaces and it just felt so wonderfully to hide away and nap in pitch black. I love balcony’s for their view but I’m never disappointed with an interior room.
