Seaview Port Arrival Times

Hi there. We depart from Barcelona on the Seaview on September 7th. Our online itinerary indicates that we dock in Marseille on the 8th at 8am. I am trying to book a private excursion and that operator advises that the port is telling him that we arrive at 9am. Has anyone sailed this itinerary recently that can shed some light on the correct time. Thanks.

I have not sailed on Seaview yet but I am due to board on Saturday in Marseille. My documentation shows arrival time in port as 09.00 hours and equally the same (09.00 hours) for the following Saturday when we disembark.

Thanks so much for the feedback Bea and SeaSunset. Still not definitive either way as the daily that Bea provided definitely says 8am as opposed to what SeaSunset’s docs say. At this point the tour operator is aware and will monitor the situation. We have tentatively planned for 8:30am. We are in Yacht Club so even If we arrive at 9am I am hopeful our butler can escort us off quickly.

My itinerary for September 8th shows 8:00am arrival in Marseille. It’s almost the end of my cruise, disembarking in Genoa the next day.

I just found a pic of the daily planner from July 7th, 2018, with arrival time in Marseille at 8:00am. The daily planner was from a recent thread but I can not find the thread... at least I saved the photo.

There is a video on YouTube with Vlog’s from two German guys. In one video the MSC Seaview arrives in Marseille and the sun is barely up. Sunrise at this day was around 6:16 since they sailed at the end of June 2018.

So every little thing points towards arrival time at 8:00am.

If its changed since your first booking you will have received another booking confirmation however unless you read it all you wouldnt know any thing had changed because there was no covering note to say that was why you had a new confirmation

Thank you for pointing this out.......I've just checked my documentation again paying particular attention to arrival time in ports. You are correct it has changed in 4 out of the 6 ports !!!

Marseille is now showing as 08.00 hours. With only 2 days before embarkation I'm very grateful you pointed this out. It does not make much difference for embarkation but for disembarking and onward travel it does.
