suekel Posted August 3, 2018 #26 Share Posted August 3, 2018 I booked a suite for next January and saved 20% with the casino rate which is a better rate than I would have gotten with the VIP casino cruise rate. A little over $900. But I still get to do the VIP part. The following January, I gave up the casino rate to take the sip and sail. Came out a few hundred ahead. memoak Posted August 3, 2018 #27 Share Posted August 3, 2018 did you mean without?? For us we could pay for one package and still save over $1000. I do not use the package to the ultimate...maybe 2 drinks per day...plus we get mini bar. Yes typo on my part - we probably average around 7-10 drinks a day plus multiple waters and coffees so the package really pays off for us
cdv0228 Posted August 6, 2018 #28 Share Posted August 6, 2018 On our May 1st 10 Caribbean princess cruise, Both my husband and I received the offers at the end of the cruise to come back sail and play. I received a Free inside cabin for two and $750 freeplay, He received a $400 Freeplay offer only. We had 30 days to book the offer, and it had to be on a cruise within 6 months to Caribbean, Alaska, or Mexico. I put on approximately 25,000 points at slot machines, he did about 12,000. I lucked out and hit a 6k jackpot TWICE on the same exact $1 machine on back to back nights, it was a lucky cruise! This was a VIP cruise and yes the casino was so packed, could hardly get on a machine most nights, we were not booked for the VIP portion, but had a very discounted rate of 199/pp for OV cabin.
