Cozumel

I am going on Carnival Triumph. It says we will be in Cozumel Mexico from 8am-5pm.. does this mean that we can get off of the boat at 8am. I wanted to book an excursion but it leaves at 8:30am. The meeting location is right on the pier. Is this ok? Will i be able to get off the boat at 8am?

If the boat is on time then yes. They will know the boat is late and wait for you.

 

If you are going to the mainland take a cruiseline excursion. Too many variables for missing the boat.

Depend on time you get there, If everything is on time you probably will be off quickly. If boat is late then not. Most often on my 23 cruises we have been off on tie or early, bot not always.

There are a few things that could delay your debarkation even if the ship arrives on time.

 

The vendor's want that money so most will wait for you.

I would speak to the vendor. Ask them what their policy is if you arrive late. Some may wait, some may say tough. 8:30 may be cutting it tight.
