Rickshaw rates

I'm wondering what you would pay/tip the rickshaw drivers, if available, at the piers?

WHERE?? The ones here in San Diego will tell you what it costs.

At Amber Cove they were to only. I gave them $5.

I was recovering from hip replacement surgery. It was worth $10 to me. He seemed pleased with that amount.

We asked in Cozumel for the 2 of us (grown adults) and the driver/runner said "whatever you like to tip". He ran us for about 3 or 4 minutes. We gave him $20US.

This guy was fit omg. Running pulling 2 grown adults (probably 375 lbs combined) like he was jogging to get some cat food at the market. Made it look like it was nothing. I had no issue at all giving him $20

We only used one once in Amber Cove. It was downpouring on the way back to the ship early afternoon and the driver was just sitting there in the rain waiting for a customer. We said "why not?" and took the ride. I believe we gave him $5 which was all we had on us since we weren't planning on doing anything much at the port anyway.

I don't remember what port - possibly Cozumel - but I looked down that long pier and thought No Way.

 

The operator told me whatever I wanted to tip. Just for convenience I probably would have given him $5 but my legs sent an SOS to my brain and I gave him 10.

 

He seemed pleased.
