No. Only the Dawn has towels you can remove from the ship.

From the NCL website "For water based excursions it is recommended to bring a towel from the ship. Generally, beach towels are located inside your stateroom and on the pool deck."

Also, there will be a towel exchange on the pier before you re-board the ship, so you can dump the dirty one and take a fresh, clean one back to your cabin.

You're right, and they usually are but sometimes we get a little caught up in the moment. You can take towels off any NCL cruise ship but please make sure you return them. Don't allow the resort/beach attendant persuade you to leave your NCL towels there.

 

You could be charged $25 though I've not heard of anyone... I suspect I've just been lucky.
