Upgrade question with casino

I hear about people getting upgrades, and I have received two in the past but my question, has anybody who have received casino complimentary cruises ever been upgraded from the room the casino gave you?

We have NEVER taken the room the casino has given us.

I find the room I want, on the cruise I want & then call the casino club.

They have ALWAYS discounted the best price I can find elsewhere.

Here is a hint....

their price will be discounted of the lowest price at the time of your call.

We wanted to sail this September. We booked in February. I checked the suite prices on all the ships out of Florida for each week.

The Allure suites prices were considerably lower for the 2nd week of September than the other ships. Luckily, we had the leeway to chose a week. So I got a tremendous deal on a suite for that week.

I originally was looking to do the Harmony but we have done the Allure before & liked it. I wanted a full suite.

We are not 'big time' gamblers so they will never offer us one on their own.

And if you take the cabin class which the Casino comps you, at a later date you can also go and pay a VERY REASONABLE upgrade if there is one available. They're very easy to work with either during booking or calling later to see what they can do for you.
