honeymoon beach st john or alternatives

we will be docking at st john antigua from 9 to 5 in march. I would like a beach day that is not to crowded and was reading about honeymoon beach.I see that their is a trail from the visitor center, can we walk from the port to this trail? or is there another way to get there? hubby having knee replacement 4 months before then so not sure what he will be up to, but with the last one he was hiking without issue 8 weeks out so would like to have alternatives. or are there other not crazy crowded beach alternatives? thanks

St John, Virgin Islands or St John's, Antigua? I don't think there's a Honeymoon Beach on Antigua.

Itinerary says st John's antigua...

I guess I need to study a map and learn the difference???

St John's is the capital city of Antigua-Barbuda. St. John is one of the four US Virgin Islands.:D

Post your beach question on the Antigua board. Antigua boasts that it has 365 beaches, one for each day of the year. I don't believe there is one called Honeymoon on Antigua. Dickenson Bay is probably the closest to the pier, but also probably not the best.
